The Gesher organization had good cause for celebration as it celebrated a milestone in its unique IDF Officer Cadets Jewish Identity Training Academy, which was developed in cooperation with the Israel Defense Forces. A festive event took place in August 2011 at the Gesher Center in Jerusalem, marking a decade during which 40,000 IDF officer cadets have participated in this powerful project, which strengthens the Jewish and Zionist identity of Israeli soldiers, clarifies questions of values and heightens the cadets’ motivation.
